Who will get the points earned from the Family linked transactions?

The basic structure of a family relationship is that all members of a family can link their individual customer IDs to one central Family ID. It is possible for both the customer IDs, and the Family ID to be part of the Axis eDGE Rewards program. In fact, to maximize your earnings from eDGE, we highly recommend that individual member's Customer IDs are linked to a Family ID. The advantage of linking Customer IDs, is that the points to all individual family members are awarded on the basis of Average Monthly Balance of all the accounts in the family relationship. So even if you personally have not been able to maintain an average monthly balance of Rs.25,000, as long as your Family Monthly Balance is above Rs.5,00,000, you will still receive points for your transactions.

Points are awarded to the person within the family who carries out the transaction. It will reflect against that person’s individual customer ID. However, if a new member is added to the family, the points for that will go to the Primary family member in the family relationship. The points for all members of a family will be calculated on the basis of the balance in all the accounts of that family ID.

I am a burgundy customer. Do I need to maintain a minimum balance to start earning rewards?

No, as a Burgundy customer, you have an exclusive relationship with Axis Bank, and you will earn points for all your transactions irrespective of the balances you maintain in your savings account. Click here for a full list of transactions on which you can earn points.

I see that points are awarded based on AMB. Which period does this AMB refer to?

The AMB or Average Monthly Balance on which the points will be awarded to you will be on the basis of the month prior to the month on which you are carrying out the transaction. For example, in the month of May 2018, if you carry out any transactions that will earn you points, these points will be awarded on the basis of your balance in the month of April 2018.

How are points earned for an Auto Loan?

If you have an Auto loan, you can simply submit your Invoice, RC Book & Hypothecated Insurance Policy within 60 days of the disbursement of your loan to us. You can also send us scanned copies at edgerewards@axisbank and we will revert with a confirmation.

How are points earned for a Home Loan?

If you have a Home Loan with Axis Bank, you will be credited points on every Home Loan anniversary. These points will get credited in the anniversary month.

How are points earned for NRI – Portfolio Investment Scheme account (PIS)?

If you have a NRI – PIS account with Axis Bank, you can earn maximum 20 points for the trade date. Points earned through eligible earn actions will be credited to the Axis eDGE Rewards account by the 20th of the following month.

Can all NRI-PIS account holders earn points?

Axis eDGE Rewards Points for NRI PIS Transactions are applicable only on scheme codes NREPI and NROPI.

How are points calculated?

Points are calculated by rounding down the transaction value to the nearest integer and as per the criteria set for each Axis Bank product. For example, if the transaction value is Rs. 259 it will be rounded off down to the nearest integer Rs. 200 for purpose of calculating points.

What happens to points earned on an add-on card?

Purchases on add-on Credit Cards will earn Axis eDGE Reward points. These points will be credited to the primary eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship holder's account. Only the primary account holder can redeem these points.

If the spends on Travel Currency Card are done in any other currency other than USD, it will be first converted to USD as per the prevailing exchange rate on 1st of that month ( Month in which the transaction has been done ) and then Axis eDGE Reward points will be calculated. ب. Points will be credited on a cumulative basis for all transactions done in the month.

*Eg: Customer has spent a cumulative of EURO 300 in January, 2017. The exchange rate prevailing on 1 st January, 2017 is 1 EURO = USD 1.38. The equivalent USD amount now becomes USD 412.73. Basis the earn rule as mentioned above the customer account will be credited with 164 Axis eDGE Reward points for USD 412.73.

How many points will I earn on Titanium Rewards Debit Card or Rewards+ Debit Cards?

You are eligible to earn 5 times the reward points every time you shop or dine with your Axis Bank Titanium Rewards Debit Card or Rewards+ Debit Card. I am a Current Account customer. Will I earn points on my Debit Card transactions?

No. You will earn points on the Current Account transactions as specified in the earn rules on the website; however points will not be provided for Current Account Debit Card transactions. Choose the rewards of your choice from different categories, add to basket and confirm the redemption. ب. Axis eDGE Rewards Website: To redeem your points through Axis eDGE Rewards website, you will have to sign up for the program by visiting the registration page. Depending on the product you hold and your relationship with the bank you will need to choose the appropriate product from the dropdown and then fill in the relevant details to register. Once you have registered successfully you will receive an email confirming your user ID and password. You can visit ‘Redeem Now’ section post login with your user ID/ customer ID & password. Certain customers holding select products will be auto registered into the program. All customers who are auto registered will receive an email confirming their login credentials, which they can use to access their loyalty account on the website or redeem their points.

How long are my points valid?

Points earned on a particular day will expire after three years. For eg: Points earned on 10 th January 2018 will expire on 10 th January 2018.

Points will also expire in case there is no account activity over a period of 365 days. Eg: If you have not done any earn transactions, redemptions or have not logged in to your account for a period of 365 days from your last transaction, your points will expire on the 366th day.

How do I use my points at your Partner brand's stores?

You can use your points at a Partner brand's store in the simplest way possible - in lieu of money! Just use an Axis Bank Debit or Credit Card to pay.

To redeem your points at stores, you will need to visit the websites of our partners, and check out the details of our points being accepted at their stores. You also need to make a minimum purchase of Rs.100 to qualify for points usage. Any Terms & Conditions mentioned on our partner brand's websites are in addition to the Terms & Conditions of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program.

How do I redeem online with my Axis eDGE Reward points?

For online redemption, please follow the below mentioned process:

ا. To redeem your Axis eDGE Reward points, select the product on your favourite online portal for redemption. ب. In the payment option, select ‘PayU Money’ in the ‘Wallet’ tab. ج. Sign in or Sign up on PayU Money and choose ‘Rewards Program’ to purchase the product by redeeming your Axis eDGE Reward points. د. Select Axis Bank from the drop down . ه. Enter a valid Axis Bank Debit or Credit Card number and the bank registered mobile number mapped to the corresponding card information provided. F. Can I redeem points for two items at a time?

Yes, if you have enough points, you can choose to redeem them for multiple rewards at the same time. All you need is a minimum of 300 points per reward to check-out your cart.

Why am I not able to redeem for e-Vouchers on the website?

e-Vouchers are mailed only to the registered email address as provided in your bank/ card account with the bank. Please visit the bank branch to update your registered email address.

What is the process of redeeming instant e-Vouchers?

All instant e-Vouchers will be sent to your registered email ID. The email will contain 16 digit code and in a few cases 6 digit pin which you will need to present at the payment counter at the retail stores.

To use instant e-Vouchers for online shopping, key in the 16 digit code along with the pin wherever applicable at the payment step.

Points required for redemption is influenced by multiple factors, hence the point requirement for redemption may be different for different online stores.

I redeemed a product at one of the Merchant outlet using my Axis eDGE Reward points, the slip does not show the total number of points deducted for the transaction?

Total number of points redeemed is not available on the customer copy, however Axis Bank sends an SMS and an email to their customers on any redemption done at the merchant outlet using their Axis eDGE Reward points. You can check the total points utilized for the said redemption in the SMS trigger and the email sent to your bank registered email ID and mobile number.

I redeemed a product at one of the Merchant outlets through Axis eDGE Reward points, the transaction went through without my pin number?

Redemption at Merchant outlet can be done on swipe as well as chip enabled cards. On the chip enabled cards the redemption is done without asking for the pin number. The cashier will use the chip and pin enabled card as regular swipe cards.

I had sufficient point balance in my account, why was my transaction declined?

Sometimes due to various blocks appearing on your Bank account, the transaction is not processed, therefore we request you to call our phone banking team on 1860-419-5555 or 1860-500-5555 to understand the reason for the same.

I have received an error “The reward point balance is insufficient for the payment” while trying to action redemption?

In case the Axis eDGE Reward points balance available in your Axis eDGE Rewards account is insufficient for the value of product selected at your end, please select another payment option, i. e. you can make a payment through Axis Bank Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking option also.

Why does the webpage display the message ‘Card Number/Mobile No. entered is incorrect’, while trying to action redemption?

While redeeming your Axis eDGE Reward points at the online store, you need to enter your Axis Bank Credit or Debit card number and the bank registered mobile number mapped to the corresponding card information provided. You will receive the above message, in case either of the information is incorrect. You can call our phone banking team on 1860-419-5555 or 1860-500-5555 for assistance or try another Axis Bank – Debit or Credit card with valid mobile number.

This situation may occur sometimes due to a technical issue while transacting at the merchant outlet. A credit note or gift voucher of equivalent value will be issued by the respective merchant outlet.

I have not received the OTP password or received an error as OTP authorization has failed?

Once you select to pay with your Axis eDGE Reward points and enter the Axis Bank Credit / Debit Card number and mobile number registered with the bank, click on ‘Redeem Points’. An OTP will be sent on your bank registered mobile number. However, for a new OTP to be resent to the registered mobile number you can click on ‘Resend OTP’ option and enter the OTP received on your mobile number for successful completion of redemption process.

The above card was issued to me by Thomas Cook Chennai on 31/03/11 - Last evening on 02/04/11, I received a message on my mobile that The money is transferred to my account, and I may check the money on line - to verify - I did go to the bank this morning to verify - but my account was showing Nil. As I am staying in Companey's guest house and the internet facility is out of order since last evening - So this morning I called up ############(as indicated in the card) And spoke to Avinash - he tried to transfer my line - but in vein I held on for 20 Minutes - but no one came on the line and I had to pay heavily for the stupid music which was being played.
